WLDG 111 Welding Safety and Theory

Designed for beginning welding students who are entering the welding field, this course examines and presents welding and shop safety, oxy-fuel safety, base metal preparation, weld quality, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) equipment and set up, electrode selection, joint design and fit up. This class is a prerequisite for most Welding courses.
