Independent Study

Students may earn credit in a subject area for of a course not listed in this catalog. An independent study course is of a self-designed format, which is planned with the assistance of a full-time faculty member. Evaluation is conducted by the designated faculty member. The self-designed format should be presented to the Vice-President of Academics for approval detailing stated objective(s) and the methodology of research and/or instructional activities which will be exercised by the student and the instructor. Incomplete grades may not be given for an Independent Study.
