AST 251 Engine Performance I

General engine diagnosis is emphasized in this course. Proper analysis of internal engine mechanical condition with a variety of diagnostic testing equipment is covered including theory and repair of ignition system and related components. Diagnosis and repair of the fuel, air induction, and exhaust systems is taught. A Laboratory component is included. Course is intended for second year students and a requirement for AAS degree.
