ECNS 201 Principles of Microeconomics

Those pursuing business or general studies degrees will learn microeconomic principles that relate to the minute workings of an economy and how these principles relate to their daily lives. Students can expect to discuss principles relating to supply and demand, the market process and price mechanism, the marginal concept, scarcity and economic problems, specialization and trade, income distribution and monopoly power and price setting. In a cooperative learning setting, students will apply these theories to microeconomic issues experienced by businesses.
