GDSN 230 Video Editing
Students completing this course will acquire the basic knowledge of nonlinear video editing. Students are introduced to the five editing basics; import media files, create a sequence, add a title, adjust audio levels, add transitions, effects and export. Students will learn to acquire media files such as, video, audio, and graphics, and create a rough-cut sequence, add effects, adjust audio, and export the project. Shoot and edit a short video, they will record, capture, convert, and edit a variety of video sources. Describe the main principles of continuity editing. Create a project by compiling clips into a complete sequence from start to finish. Combine multiple video and audio sources to produce composite video productions.
