MART 145 Web Design

Students are introduced to the web site creation process by developing and enhancing html, css, and visual design skills utilizing the latest web design technologies and coding trends.  Beginning with the web design environment and the principles of sound web design, students will plan site layout and navigation, progress to web typography, colors and images, and working with css.  Students will gain a solid foundation of designing successful, standards-based web sites that are portable across different operating systems, browsers, and web devices.  Web design exercises are completed using the latest brackets text editor.
