SW 100 Introduction To Social Welfare
Students will examine the nature, scope, and functions of the helping professions {e.g. Social services, family and child welfare, criminal justice, addictions and mental health), and the role of the individual as a professional. Topics including professional ethics, confidentiality, crisis intervention and cultural competency are also covered.
