CAS 201 Theories of Counseling
Students will explore counseling theories, key theoretical perspectives and techniques in counseling, and the ability to develop and demonstrate listening skills and sensitivity in interpersonal relationships. The course covers additional applications in group counseling, confidentiality, ethics and crisis intervention using lecture, video, and a final comprehensive paper covering a theory of choice. {formerly HS 250)
