GPHY 131 Introduction to ArcGIS
Students are introduced to ArcGIS, a computer system that analyzes and displays geographically referenced information using data that is attached to unique locations. Students are provided with a solid foundation in GIS concepts and practice; they will acquire a working knowledge of ArcGIS. Students will learn new developments in ArcGIS software and apps, changes in acquisition of geospatial data, and a careful interpretation of important ArcGIS concepts.
